I hired a landscaper who pillaged my property. Used a bobcat to knock down 10 beautiful cherry trees when he was supposed to remove the small spindly trees so the cherrys would have more room. He did mass damage to my property.I am holding some of his equipment hostage. (He scratched the vin# off it) He cannot remove it from my property without 2 grand or the police. But if i take this money will the matter be considered settled, by the courts?

Do you think this was a pathetic reward or generous enough?

A Brinks Armoured truck recently lost a bag en route to Bank of America ATMs with $140,000 in it. A struggling landscaper named Eli Estrada found it and turned it in. Brinks and the Bank of America gave him a $2,000 reward. His mother said it should have been 10% ($14,000). If you were Brinks and Bank of America, what would you have given him?
