Any opinions on landscape in Los Altos, CA? How does pricing work?

I have about 1/3 acre lot which has not had much attention from me in years. I don’t know the first thing about what to plant, how to create a design, etc. Can anyone recommend good landscapers? How much money should I expect to spend (a ballpark range)? Thank you!
